Sample Two Week Menu Plan


for a Childcare Program

When preparing my menu plan I try to keep the children's likes and dislikes in mind.  Alternate choices should be provided to allow for a child's dislikes.  Children should be encouraged to "try" first!  We have a three bite rule at our house!  All children must have at least 3 bites of any one thing on their plate - once they have started they usually just gobble it all down!  TIP OF THE DAY:  DIP, DIP AND MORE DIP!  I have found that if there is a dip provided..kids will eat anything!
